With Habitat Lake along the right side of the entire hole, you can’t help but take notice of this gorgeous hole. A safe tee shot will leave you with a short to mid iron in. The two-tiered green will yield few birdies!" PELICAN LAKES GOLF COURSE HOLE 11 PAR 5 YARDAGE Black - 542 Yds. Blue - 510 Yds. White - 479 Yds. Red - 431 Yds.  From the Pro: "Another great-looking hole bordered by both the Poudre and Habitat Lake. Avoiding the fairway bunker on the right will give the big hitters a go at a large green. A great opportunity to get one back.." PELICAN LAKES GOLF COURSE HOLE 12 PAR 3 YARDAGE Black - 215 Yds. Blue - 200 Yds. White - 143 Yds. Red - 113 Yds.  From the Pro: "Three difficult bunkers surround this very large green. Ignore the pin position and aim toward the middle of the green. A par is a great score here." PELICAN LAKES GOLF COURSE HOLE 13 PAR 4 YARDAGE Black - 406 Yds. Blue - 376 Yds. White - 346 Yds. Red - 304 Yds.  From the Pro: "This short par 4 will yield some good scores. A very large fairway bunker will grab any balls tailing to the right. Favor the left hand side of the fairway and you are left with a short iron to a deep two-tiered green. A back pin placement will call for one full club more." PELICAN LAKES GOLF COURSE HOLE 14 PAR 4 YARDAGE Black - 430 Yds. Blue - 393 Yds. White - 365 Yds. Red - 336 Yds.  From the Pro: "This dogleg left par 4 will demand an accurate drive. Four well-placed fairway bunkers at the point of the dogleg will leave a very difficult, long-iron approach to the green. Another large greenside bunker will grab any balls left of the green. Favor the right side and play the slope." PELICAN LAKES GOLF COURSE HOLE 15 PAR 5 YARDAGE Black - 590 Yds. Blue - 517 Yds. White - 490 Yds. Red - 447 Yds.  From the Pro: "The large lake on the right is the only hazard on this challenging par 5. Favor the left side of the fairway and have a go at the green in two. The undulating green is the major defense on #15. The green slopes hard from left to right. Pay close attention to the pin position as it will be a huge factor in shot selection." PELICAN LAKES GOLF COURSE HOLE 16 PAR 4 YARDAGE Black - 384 Yds. Blue - 351 Yds. White - 320 Yds. Red - 280 Yds.  From the Pro: "This short dogleg left par 4 is a great test off the tee. With the Poudre on the left and a narrowing fairway, give the driver a break. A metal wood at the fairway bunkers on the right is the play here. A short iron remains to a very narrow, deep green. Keeping the ball below the pin is a must to score here." PELICAN LAKES GOLF COURSE HOLE 17 PAR 3 YARDAGE Black - 208 Yds. Blue - 185 Yds. White - 155 Yds. Red - 125 Yds.  From the Pro: "A very demanding par 3 where par is gold. This hole is bordered by Lake Water Valley to the right. Keep your ball on the left side of the green, as the design asks you to. Going right at the pin is for the very brave. " PELICAN LAKES GOLF COURSE HOLE 18 PAR 4 YARDAGE Black - 490 Yds. Blue - 409 Yds. White - 376 Yds. Red - 330 Yds.  From the Pro: "One of the most difficult finishing holes in the state. The Poudre River divides the fairway in half, making a driver useless unless you are playing the back tee. A square metal wood at the bridge is the play. This lay-up shot will force a long iron or wood to the green. Sometimes a bogey is a good score." |
