PELICAN LAKES GOLF COURSE HOLE 1 PAR 4 YARDAGE: Black - 411 Yds. Blue - 381 Yds. White - 352 Yds. Red - 309 Yds.  From the Pro: "One of the easiest holes on the front providing you are safe off the tee. With Rock Bridge Lake on the left side, the golfer should favor the right. Avoid the fairway bunker and you are left with a short iron to a back to front sloping green. Keep the ball below the green and you will have a great chance for an opening birdie." PELICAN LAKES GOLF COURSE HOLE 2 PAR 5 YARDAGE: Black - 566 Yds. Blue - 526 Yds. White - 499 Yds. Red - 448 Yds.  From the Pro: "Mr. Robinson has designed a real beauty. Along with the lake on the left, the Poudre River introduces itself winding up the entire right side of the fairway. A big drive will provide the first big decision of the round. This is the epitome of a risk-reward hole, as the fairway narrows sharply approaching the green. Without a big drive this becomes a true par 5 with a large, receptive green." PELICAN LAKES GOLF COURSE HOLE 3 PAR 4 YARDAGE Black - 414 Yds. Blue - 380 Yds. White - 353 Yds. Red - 291 Yds.  From the Pro: "Easily the most demanding tee shot on the front nine. The Poudre and 400 yds of lateral hazard along the left side border a narrow fairway. The Poudre is hungry and will grab many balls drifting to the right. Keep driver in the bag and stay safe off the tee. A large, elevated green w/ three front bunkers provides a good test. Par is a great score." PELICAN LAKES GOLF COURSE HOLE 4 PAR 3 YARDAGE Black - 216 Yds. Blue - 185 Yds. White - 157 Yds. Red - 118 Yds.  From the Pro: "The first par three on the course is also the most difficult. A well-struck iron is needed to cross the Poudre here. The green slopes heavily from the right and provides a difficult up and down. Anything on the green is a good play. " PELICAN LAKES GOLF COURSE HOLE 5 PAR 5 YARDAGE Black - 521 Yds. Blue - 492 Yds. White - 463 Yds. Red - 431 Yds.  From the Pro: "Don’t let the length fool you; this is a very challenging par 5 as Eagle Lake makes its first appearance. This hole is easily the most intimidating view from the tee. A safe drive will allow the big hitters to reach the green in two. The course will concede a good score when the pin is on the right side of the green. A back left pin will bring the front bunker and water into play and add 20 yards of carry! " PELICAN LAKES GOLF COURSE HOLE 6 PAR 4 YARDAGE Black - 403 Yds. Blue - 366 Yds. White - 337 Yds. Red - 271 Yds.  From the Pro: "This par 4 allows the golfer to try and get one back. The fairway narrows 240 yds from the tee to add a challenge. Keep right of fairway bunker and you are left with a short iron to a relatively flat green. " PELICAN LAKES GOLF COURSE HOLE 7 PAR 4 YARDAGE Black - 436 Yds. Blue - 380 Yds. White - 353 Yds. Red - 312 Yds.  From the Pro: "This dogleg left par 4 will allow the driver once again. A drive up the right side will feed back into the fairway. Avoid the fairway bunker on the left and a mid to low iron remains into an undulated green. " PELICAN LAKES GOLF COURSE HOLE 8 PAR 4 YARDAGE Black - 377 Yds. Blue - 356 Yds. White - 337 Yds. Red - 270 Yds.  From the Pro: "A short length par four. A good drive will leave a wedge in hand and a good birdie opportunity. With an extreme slope from back to front, a delicate touch with the putter is needed." PELICAN LAKES GOLF COURSE HOLE 9 PAR 3 YARDAGE Black - 200 Yds. Blue - 176 Yds. White - 160 Yds. Red - 146 Yds.  From the Pro: "The Poudre demands a short carry to a large and receptive green. The front right bunker provides a defense on this beautiful par 3." |
